Therapy involves looking at
- changing behaviours
- setting goals
- alternatives to abusive behaviours
- using either
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, or
- Motivational Interviewing Therapy
Mediation & Conflict Resolutions
- primary conflict resolution
- for work related conflicts
- personal conflicts involving two or more people
Professional Supervision
- for those currently in the workforce and/or studying
- for private clients
- available through agency contracts
Groupwork
- looking at areas of self esteem
- workshops on community issues
- alcohol and other drug
- other areas of interest through consultation
General Counselling
Including:
- Relationship counselling
- Offender and/or perpetrator counselling
- Children and adolescent counselling
- Self Esteem Issues

Face-to-face counselling
Offering traditional office counselling in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere
Telephone Counselling
Available for those clients who
- have limited time to attend traditional counselling
- wish an element of anonymity
- are located in rural and remote areas
Email counselling
Secure email facility
Emails will be responded to within 24 hours Monday - Friday, longer over weekends and public holidays
Web conferencing
Secure web conferencing facility
Clients must have the appropriate internet and computer software to access this service, for example
- Broadband connection
- Computer with inbuilt webcam, or alternatively
- Webcam and microphone or headset bought cheaply from electronic stores
- Ability to download a secure web conferencing facility, ie AIM Pro (no cost)
Web chat
Secure web chat facility
Available free of charge
Pre-arranged chat times, open to all existing clients, professionals and other interested people
Topics will be posted on the web-site the week before the scheduled chat
